We’re marking the start of the fall semester with an open house styled event to introduce students to our recently opened space on campus. Chat with faculty and staff from the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and learn about our new lineup of programs and events for the year and meet some fellow Comet entrepreneurs.
Students are invited to share their business ideas in a workshop led by SPURstartup to discuss new ways to approach ideation and idea viability. Lean about pin-pointing value propositions, defining your vision, customer segments, cost structure, and much more. Food and drinks will be provided.
SPURstartup is a launchpad for student startups, making the transition into the startup world after college easier than ever. Here, you can raise money for every stage of your startup journey, find mentors, and transform an idea into your dream business.
Whether you’re participating in the Business Idea Competition or working on a startup project, join us as we match students with ideas to students with skills.
This workshop will be hosted by Carri Craver of CoFounders Lab. If you have an idea, come ready to do a quick 60 second elevator pitch to the group. If you're someone with skills and interests come ready to talk about the work you've done.
